Review of the themes and plot of the first episode of the new anime "Akame ga Kill!" by WHITE FOX studios.
"Akame ga Kill" is one of the best anime of the season as of the early going. Despite the laughably generic title, "Akame ga Kill" is a thrilling action series that looks to be the next best thing to " Attack on Titan ." The style is based on the popular manga "Akame ga Kiru!" by writer Takahiro (author of "Fate/Zero" - see my "Fate/Zero" review ) and artist Tashiro Tetsuya. This exciting series is slated to have 25 episodes, and will be set at a small country town, so everything depends on how WHITE FOX will treat its characters. Expect a story about a group of people with profound weapons who fight for their own will; note that this is all they have left."
